After receiving his BA from Sarah Lawrence College, Jon completed didactic and clinical acupuncture training at the Wu Hsing Tao School in Seattle. After his licensure in May 2013, Jon opened a private practice in north Seattle. In addition to his training as a Classical Five Element acupuncturist, Jon is also trained in shiatsu, tui na, photobiomodulation, and acupuncture auriculotherapy.

As well as maintaining his own practice, Jon has served as a faculty member and clinical supervisor at the Wu Hsing Tao school, doing his utmost to ensure the spread and wider adoption of acupuncture as a system of medicine. Jon believes that the integration of eastern and western approaches to health and medicine will lead to improved outcomes for both patients and practitioners.
