Acupuncture treatment is preceded by a medical consultation with Dr. Zhao to fully assess the patient’s condition(s) and develop an optimal treatment plan, whereupon our proprietary acupuncture protocols will be applied. Dr. Zhao developed these protocols based on her in–depth knowledge of and significant experience with both Occidental and Oriental medicines. This approach has the added advantage of minimizing service variation from one provider to the other.

Since acupuncture is a cumulative modality, meaning each treatment builds on the previous ones, we recommend that patients sign up for multiple sessions, have more frequent treatment initially, and gradually taper off. This is the most efficient way to experience the efficacy of acupuncture.

Several treatment options are offered at our clinic, ranging from community acupuncture in a shared room to more comprehensive service in a private room. Community acupuncture is billed at $100 per 45-minute session. This is our budget program, designed to provide quality service at an affordable price. The rate for individual service is higher and varies by provider.

Acupuncture is only offered as a self–pay service. Patients may work with their insurance carriers for possible reimbursement. Several payment options are available:
